The UEFA Champions League Group H fixture, Juventus F.C. vs. Malmö FF, kicks off at 18:45 (GMT+1) on Wednesday, December 8, at Juventus Stadium. Referee Irfan Peljto (BIH) has been selected as the first official for this fixture.

Eliminated and yet to win a game, Malmö FF will be drawing the curtains on their UEFA Champions League campaign on Wednesday when they make their appearance against the Old Lady. In 4th place, with 1 point from 0W, 1D, and 4L, Malmö are rooted to the bottom of the table, three points behind 3rd-placed FC Zenith. A huge negative goal difference of -12 leaves the club in 4th place. The Swedish outfit, were confirmed to finish bottom of the group following the 1-1 draw with FC Zenit on UCL Matchday 5. Malmö took the lead through a 28th-minute strike from Søren Rieks, but a late penalty in stoppage time from Yaroslav Rakitskyi (90’+2 P.) saw the club denied a win. A win here appears to be a remote possibility, while Jon Dahl Tomasson is expected to make several changes to the starting line-up for this dead-rubber game against Juventus. A 5—4—1 formation could be seen with Antonio Čolak at the top of the design. If booked, Brorsson, Larsson, and Nielsen will miss the next match.

Malmö meets F.C. Zenit St. Petersburg once again following their 4-0 defeat to the Russian side on UCL Matchday 2. Scheduled for 21:00 (GMT+1) on UEFA Champions League Matchday 5, Tuesday, November 23, at the Eleda Stadion, referee Andris Treimanis (LVA) will be in charge alongside the assistant referees, Haralds Gudermanis (LVA) and Aleksejs Spasjoņņikovs (LVA). Meanwhile, João Pinheiro (POR) will be carefully hidden away in the VAR room.

Bottom-placed Malmö sank deeper into the quicksand after a 1-0 defeat to Chelsea on UCL MD4. The result leaves the Swedish side in a precarious situation and in dire need of a win for a third-place finish to keep playing European football this season, albeit under the banner of the Europa League. The home side had held on to the stalemate against Chelsea until the second-half when Hudson-Odoi's remarkable assist, in the shape of a curling pass across the face of goal, found Ziyech (56’). The narrow loss leaves Malmö with no points after four consecutive defeats: 0W, 0D, & 4L. The results remain in stark contrast when placed side-by-side with their domestic run on the home front, in Allsvenska. Malmö is in first place in the league and remains unbeaten in five games: DWWWD. Having only one defeat in five across all competitions (WWLWD), Jon Dahl Tomasson could be lining up another 4—2—3—1 formation with Colak leading the attack. If booked, Franz Brorsson and Nielsen will miss the next match. Ola Toivonen and Jonas Knudson are out of the squad and the season due to knee injuries, while Anders Christiansen’s availability remains in doubt.

After 48 matches and 145 goals, the star-studded league of champions returns with Malmö FF hosting Chelsea at the Eleda Stadion in a bid to salvage what is left of their UEFA Champions League campaign on Matchday 4. The second leg of this double-header kicks off at 18:45 (GMT+1) on Tuesday, November 2. Ajax’s Sébastien Haller remains at the top of the UCL goal scorers’ list with 6 goals, while United’s Bruno Fernandes has the highest number of assists, 4. With three clean sheets in as many games, Juve’s Wojciech Szczęsny and Bayern’s Manuel Neuer haven’t let a goal beyond their lines.

Malmö comes off the back of a 3-2 win against IK Sirius Fotboll on the Swedish domestic front, Allsvenskan. Having led minutes into the second half, they returned from a goal deficit to secure three points, thanks to a brace from Antonio Colak (76’ & 90’+2). Back on continental soil, the Swedish outfit has an ax to grind with the Blues, having been thrashed 4-0 by the UCL title holders. Taking a look at images from Matchday 3, the Swedes were completely blown away, having no answer to the questions Chelsea posed right from the get-go at Stamford Bridge. Minutes into the game, Lukaku forced a save from the visiting side’s goalkeeper, before a half-footed acrobatic volley from Andreas Christensen (9’) – his first-ever goal for Chelsea – separated both sides. A Jorginho-styled penalty (21’) doubled Chelsea’s lead before Kai Havertz (48’) chipped in with a goal of his own. Three minutes from the hour, Jorginho (57’ P.) hit the back of the net once again from twelve yards. The defeat left Malmö rooted to the bottom of Group H with no points while having a huge G.D. of -11 after three games: 0W, 0D & 3L. The Swedish champions must beat Chelsea on Tuesday in a late bid to keep playing continental football at the end of the UCL group stage. However, it appears history will repeat itself. The club finished fourth in the lot in both previous group appearances of the UEFA Champions League, winning one game and losing the other five in each instance. Malmö has back-to-back victories in five games across all competitions: WLDWW. On Tuesday, manager Jon Dahl Tomasson could line up the dynamic 3—5—2 formation, with Colak pairing up with Veljko Birmancevic in attack. Colak has 11 goals for the club in 22 domestic appearances. Center-backs Franz Brorsson and Lasse Nielsen will miss the next match if they get booked on Tuesday.

Chelsea takes on Malmö FF in a UEFA Champions League Group H fixture scheduled for 20:00 (GMT+1) on Wednesday, October 19 at Stamford Bridge. A crew of French match officials, François Letexier (first official), Cyril Mugnier (assistant referee), Mehdi Rahmouni (assistant referee), and Thomas Leonard (fourth official), will have the helping hand of Alejandro Hernández from Spain in the VAR room.

Once again, Malmö were trashed 4-0 on UCL Matchday 2 by F.C. Zenit at the Krestovsky Stadium. The embarrassing defeat leaves the Swedish outfit at the bottom of Group H, with no points and an overwhelming negative goal difference of -7 after back-to-back UCL defeats: 0W, 0D & 2L. Over the weekend, Malmö were the ones doing the winning, crushing Östersund, 3-0, in an Allsvenskan fixture, leaving the club with three victories in five games across all competitions: WLLWW. Manager Jon Dahl Tomasson will look to frustrate Chelsea in a bid to salvage a point or two, while hoping Juventus picks up a win over FC Zenit in another Group H fixture on Wednesday. A defensive 5—3—2 formation with Colak pairing up with Veljko Birmancevic in attack is expected. Colak has 11 goals for the club in 20 domestic appearances. Ola Toivonen and Jonas Knudson are out of the squad due to knee injuries, while Anel Ahmedhodzic is suspended following the red card against Zenith on UCL Matchday 2. Niklas Moisander returned for Malmö over the weekend and will be available for the club on Wednesday.

The UEFA Champions League Group H fixture, F.C. Zenit St. Petersburg vs. Malmö FF kicks off at 17:45 (GMT+1) on Matchday 2, Wednesday, September 29 at the Gazprom Arena. Referee Tasos Sidiropoulos (GRE) will be in charge alongside assistant referees Polychronis Kostaras (GRE) and Lazaros Dimitriadis (GRE). José María Sánchez (ESP) will be the Video Assistant Referee.

Malmö were trashed 3-0 by Juventus on UEFA Champions League Matchday 1 at the Eleda Stadium. Alex Sandro (23') gave Juventus the lead midway through the first half before Dybala (45') struck for the second. A minute into additional time in the first forty-five saw Morata (45'+1) bag Juve's third. The loss sits Malmö at the bottom of the Group H table, with no points and a goal difference of -3 after 0W, 0D & 1L. Over the weekend, Malmö crushed Oerebro, 5-1, in an Allsvenskan fixture, leaving the club with back-to-back victories in five games across all competitions: DLDWW. Manager Jon Dahl Tomasson will aim for at least a point to keep his side's chances for the next round open on Wednesday. A 4—2—3—1 formation with Colak leading the attack could be seen on Wednesday. Ola Toivonen and Jonas Knudson are out of the squad due to knee injuries. Oscar Lewicki could also miss out on the game, as he continues to recover from a knee injury. Malmö will travel to Stamford Bridge on UEFA Champions League Matchday 3, October 20, to face Chelsea.

The UEFA Champions League Group H fixture, Malmö FF vs. Juventus, kicks off at 20:00 (GMT+1) on Tuesday, September 14 at the Eleda Stadion.

After making a debut entry in the 1964/65 season, Malmö FF will begin their 18th UEFA Champions League campaign with Saturday’s 1-1 draw against IFK Norrköping in the Swedish domestic league behind them. They sit in 2nd place in the league and make their entrance into this contest of champions, having a form that reads: WWLLD across all competitions. Jon Dahl Tomasson was part of the Milan squad that defeated Juventus in the UEFA Champions League Final in 2003. On Tuesday, he will attempt to pick up another victory over the Old Lady, this time around, from the managerial seat as coach of Malmö FF. However, he could settle for a point, knowing that a victory over the two-time UEFA Champions League winner would be a tall order. A 3—4—3 formation with the center-forward of choice, Antonio Colak, playing through the middle is expected. The 27-year-old Croatian remains the club's top scorer with 8 goals in the Allsvenskan. He was instrumental in Malmö's UCL qualification, - bagging 5 goals in 8 appearances for the club in the qualifying round, and participating in 38% of all episodes that led to a goal for the club throughout its length. On availability, attacking midfielder Sergio Peña remains in doubt with a calf injury. Looking ahead, Malmö will take on F.C. Zenith at the Krestovsky Stadium on UEFA Champions League Matchday 2, Sept. 29.
