After bagging a point in last weekend’s clash against II Toro, the Eagles return against Il Diavolo, looking to dent their Serie A title hopes. S.S. Lazio vs. AC Milan kicks off at 19:45 (GMT+1) on Sunday, April 24, at the Stadio Olimpico.

Last weekend, Lazio salvaged a point in a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Torino on home soil. Pellegri (56') put II Toro in the lead with a fine header off a well-taken corner kick. But another fine header from the skipper, Ciro Immobile (90'+2), in stoppage time saw both sides level at the Stadio Olimpico. The draw leaves the Eagles with the form "WLWWD" and in 7th place, having picked up 56 points from 16W, 8D, and 9L. Lazio are seven points outside the top-four. A win here could see the Eagles cut the gap down to four if Juventus [63 points] fail to beat Sassuolo on Monday. However, Lazio have lost 13 of their last 14 Serie A games against teams that started the matchday as league leaders, with the only exception in this set being the 2-1 victory over Inter, back in February 2020. Maurizio Sarri has always kept it at an attacking-minded 4—3—3 and would likely do so again against Milan with the league’s top scorer, Ciro Immobile (25 goals), at the center of the leading trio. Felipe Anderson and Mattia Zaccagni are expected on the flanks for this weekend’s clash against the Rossoneri.

After a Ciro Immobile-inspired win over the Old Fool, the Eagles are back against II Toro, looking to pick up three victories in a row. The Serie A clash between S.S. Lazio, and Torino FC kicks off at 19:45 (GMT+1) on Saturday, April 16, at the Stadio Olimpico.

A Ciro Immobile (45'+1, 63', & 76') hat-trick at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris inspired Lazio to back-to-back victories, WWLWW, after a 4-1 win over Genoa last weekend. Lazio sits in 6th place, having picked up 55 points from 16W, 7D, and 9L. Lazio was never in the discussion for a fourth-place finish, but the top-five remains within grasp. A victory over the Bull could see the Eagles leapfrog sixth-placed AS Roma [57 points], who have a difficult fixture against Napoli on Monday. Following recent victories over Sassuolo and Genoa, the Eagles could pick up three victories in a row, having last done so in April 2021 when they completed five consecutive victories. The White and Sky Blues have an impressive ratio of 2 goals per match this season, having scored 64 goals in 32 Serie A games. Le Aquile have also conceded 47 goals and have a G.D. of +17, - an average of 1.47 goals conceded per game. Maurizio Sarri will have three points written across his mind when the Eagles take on Torino at the Stadio Olimpico this weekend. A 4—2—3—1 formation with the skipper, Ciro Immobile, at the top of the shape is expected against II Toro. Immobile is Serie A’s top scorer with 24 goals in the bag. Meanwhile, Lazio have no injury worries ahead of the weekend's clash.

The Eagles make their return following the humiliating defeat against the Little Cubs just before the international break, looking to return to winning ways at the expense of the Watermelon Peel. The Serie A clash between S.S. Lazio and U.S. Sassuolo Calcio kicks off at 17:00 (GMT+1) on Saturday, April 2, at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Derby della Capitale ended in an embarrassing 3-0 defeat for Lazio at the hands of Roma. A brace from Tammy Abraham (1', & 22'), coupled with a goal from Lorenzo Pellegrini (40'), saw the Eagles pick up their second defeat in five games, DLWWL. The defeat saw Le Aquile drop two spots down the league table, from 5th to 7th place, while remaining with 49 points after 14W, 7D, and 9L. Onlookers could be in for another goal fest on Saturday, with previous episodes between these sides producing the most goals in Serie A. - A total of 58 goals in their previous 17 episodes, which comes down to an average of 3.4 goals per match. The Eagles are looking to avoid back-to-back defeats, having last picked up two defeats in a row back in November, when they failed to earn a point against Juventus and then Napoli. Maurizio Sarri is said to be making plans to strengthen Lazio in the summer, with a number of signings already on his radar. According to Il Messaggero, the 63-year-old sought the opinion of Gianluigi Buffon over Marco Carnesecchi’s candidacy for a role between the sticks for Lazio, with Thomas Strakosha nearing the end of his contract in June. Other reports suggest Kepa Arrizabalaga could be making the switch to Lazio despite the famous episode between the pair in Chelsea's 2019 Carabao Cup final against Manchester City. Maurizio Sarri will be putting the search aside when he lays out the fabled 4—3—3 formation with the skipper, Ciro Immobile, playing through the middle of the attacking trio. Meanwhile, Luiz Felipe (sprained knee) remains doubtful for the weekend.

The Derby della Capitale, AS Roma vs. S.S. Lazio, kicks off at 18:00 (GMT+1) on Sunday, March 20, at the Stadio Olimpico.

Last weekend, Lazio picked up a 1-0 win over Venezia at the Stadio Olimpico courtesy of a single strike from the penalty spot by Ciro Immobile (58' P.). The Eagles sit in 5th place, two spots ahead of Roma, with only a point separating the duo, as Lazio have 49 points from 14W, 7D, & 8L. Le Aquile are coming off back-to-back victories, WDLWW, and are looking to extend the winning run to three in a row when they take on the Little Cubs this weekend. Maurizio Sarri could line up the fabled 4—3—3 formation, having Ciro Immobile playing through the middle of the attacking trio against AS Roma. Meanwhile, Adam Marusic returns to the side having served a one-match suspension.

The Serie A fixture, Cagliari Calcio vs. S.S. Lazio kicks off at 20:45 (GMT+1) on Saturday, March 5, at the Sardegna Arena.

Lazio were looking to get back to winning ways last weekend but picked up a 2-1 defeat to Napoli at home. Luis Alberto passed up a golden opportunity to put the Eagles in the lead before a 20-yard strike from Lorenzo Insigne (62’) separated both sides. Minutes later, Pedro (88’) pulled one back for Lazio from a similar spot in the shape of a volley. The Eagles were looking to hold on for a point until Fabian Ruiz (90’+4) broke hearts with a late long-range effort. It was the very first defeat for the Eagles in five Serie A games, DWWDL, as they sit in 7th place with 43 points from 12W, 7D, and 8L. For the first time under Maurizio Sarri, Lazio are unbeaten in three league away games [2W, 1D, & 0L] since December 2020; when they went four in a row. Being the second-highest scoring side in the league with 54 goals [behind Inter Milan with 55 goals] after 27 Serie A games, the Eagles have a goal ratio of 2 goals scored per game. However, the Biancocelesti have conceded 42 goals [1.56 goals per match] so far this season and have a G.D. of +12. Maurizio Sarri’s 4—3—3 would see the familiar trio of Zaccagni, Immobile, and Felipe Anderson in attack once again for this fixture against the Islanders. Mattia Zaccagni has been directly involved in four goals in his last four league games [2G & 2A] and would be looking to have a hand in Cagliari’s demise.

S.S. Lazio vs. S.S.C. Napoli kicks off at 20:50 (GMT+1) on Sunday, February 27, at the Stadio Olimpico.

Lazio crashed out of the UEFA Europa League, having lost 4-3 on aggregate after Thursday’s 2-2 draw against FC Porto. Ciro Immobile (19’) had Lazio in the lead before going down by two goals to Porto. Danilo Cataldi (90’+4) struck in extra time, but his effort failed to tip the scales as Lazio tumbled out of the Europa League. Back on the domestic front, Lazio bagged a point against Udinese following a 1-1 draw at Dacia Arena. The draw leaves the Eagles unbeaten in five games, having picked up 11 points out of a possible 15: WDWWD. In 6th place, with 43 points after 12W, 7D, & 7L, a victory here would see Lazio move into 5th place if Atalanta fails to defeat Sampdoria on Monday. Maurizio Sarri will have his eyes on three points ahead of Sunday’s clash, with the knowledge of Lazio's fine record on home turf. The club has lost only one of their last 25 league home games [19W, 5D, and 1L] and are looking to keep the numbers up at the end of the weekend. A 4—3—3 formation with Zaccagni, Ciro Immobile, and Felipe Anderson, who scored Lazio’s only goals against Udinese last weekend, is expected in attack for this fixture against the Partenopei. Meanwhile, Francesco Acerbi has been ruled out for this weekend’s clash along with Manuel Lazzari.

The Serie A fixture, S.S. Lazio vs. Bologna F.C. 1909 kicks off at 15:00 (GMT+1) on Saturday, February 12, at the Stadio Olimpico.

Lazio were thrashed 4-0 by AC Milan on Wednesday and were knocked out of the Coppa Italia as a result of the humiliating defeat. The Eagles had no answer to Milan’s questions and were picked to pieces in the quarter-final clash that saw the skipper, Ciro Immobile, limp off in the 68th minute. Back in the league, Lazio bagged an impressive 3-0 win over Fiorentina, who had recently lost their prized asset, in the shape of Dušan Vlahović to the Girlfriend of Italy. The victory saw the club return to winning ways after the draw at home against Atalanta, DLWDW. The White and Sky Blues moved two spots up the table, going from 8th to 6th place after the resounding victory over the Lilies last weekend. Le Aquile now has 39 points after 11W, 6D, & 7L. Lazio have kept a clean sheet in three consecutive league matches for the first time since March 2015, when they kept four consecutive clean sheets under now-Milan coach Stefano Pioli. A 4—3—3 formation, with Pedro, Immobile, and Zaccagni in attack, is expected from Maurizio Sarri for this fixture against Bologna. However, Immobile remains in doubt while Francesco Acerbi is ruled out of this game against the Rossoblù.

After the victory over the Little Zebras in Coppa Italia during the week, the White and Sky Blues make their return to Serie A action against the Goddess, aiming for a win to close the gap to the top-six. S.S. Lazio vs. Atalanta B.C. kicks off at 20:45 (GMT+1) on Saturday, January 22, at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Eagles picked up a 1-0 win in Wednesday’s Coppa Italia round-of-16 clash against Udinese on home soil, with the only goal coming from Ciro Immobile (106’). Back in Serie A, the skipper bagged a brace in the game against Salernitana last weekend. Ciro Immobile (7’ & 10’) put Lazio in the lead with ten minutes off the clock, before another effort from Manuel Lazzari (66’) wrapped up all three points for Lazio. Having swept Salernitana aside with relative ease, Lazio returned to winning ways after two games without a victory: WWDLW. However, Lazio remains stuck in 8th place, with 35 points after 10W, 5D, and 7L. The Eagles have scored 10 goals in their last three home league games [four vs. Udinese, three vs. Genoa, and Empoli]. The last time Lazio had a longer patch of hitting the back of the net more than twice in a game was back in 2019 when they did so six times, which included meetings with Udinese, Genoa, and Atalanta. Maurizio Sarri took a tumble on the touchline in Wednesday's Coppa Italia win over Udinese but will be available in the dugout on Saturday for this high-profile duel with the Goddess. A 4—3—3 formation with the skipper, Ciro Immobile, at the center of attack is expected. Immobile has scored in each of his first three league matches of a calendar year for only the second time in his career, having previously done so in 2020. The captain aims to take his tally to four this weekend against Atalanta.

The Serie A fixture, Inter Milan vs. S.S. Lazio, kicks off at 20:45 (GMT+1) on Sunday, January 9, at San Siro.

Lazio came back to salvage a point in Thursday’s six-goal thriller against Empoli, which ended 3-3 at the Stadio Olimpico. Empoli took the lead from the penalty spot after Bajrami (6' P.) sent Lazio’s goalkeeper diving the wrong way. Two minutes later, Zurkowski (8') doubled Empoli’s lead. However, a fine header from Immobile (14') cut Lazio’s deficit down to one, six minutes after Empoli's goal. Minutes into the second half, Sergej Milinković-Savić (66') restored Lazio back on level terms. Unmarked, Di Francesco (75') tucked away the ball to see Empoli retake the lead. However, a last-gasp effort from Sergej Milinković-Savić (90’+3) inside stoppage time rescued a point for Lazio as he bagged the brace. Following the draw, the club remained in 8th place on the Serie A table, having picked up 32 points from 9W, 5D, and 6L. A difficult fixture awaits Maurizio Sarri at San Siro as he looks to return to winning ways: WLWWD. A 4—3—3 formation with the trio consisting of Ciro Immobile, Felipe Anderson, and Pedro in attack is expected for this fixture against Inter Milan. The Biancocelesti will be without Francesco Acerbi (hamstring) and Daniel Akpa (AFCON).

The Italian Serie A fixture, S.S.C. Napoli vs. S.S. Lazio, kicks off at 20:45 (GMT+1) on Sunday, November 28, at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

Lazio are off the back of an impressive 3-0 victory over Lokomotiv Moscow on Thursday, in the UEFA Europa League. Back on the home front, the club picked up a 2-0 defeat to Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico and dropped one spot from 5th to 6th place on the Serie A table. Having failed to pick up a point, Lazio are left with 21 points from 6W, 3D, & 4L. The club has a form that reads: LWDWL ahead of this fixture against Napoli. A poor record trails Lazio’s visit to the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. The club has won only one of their last 10 Serie A matches on the road, picking up 1W, 2D, & 7L. Maurizio Sarri could appear along with the Biancocelesti adopting a 4—3—3 formation against Napoli with Immobile as the focal point of the attacking trio. Adam Marusic (COVID-19) is ruled out, while Bobby Adekanye is sidelined with a meniscus injury.
