The La Liga fixture, Atlético de Madrid vs. Granada CF, kicks off at 18:00 (GMT+1) on Wednesday, April 20, at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

Relegation-threatened Granada are sitting right above the bottom three, in 17th place, ahead of this mid-week clash against Atletico Madrid. The Nazaríes have 29 points from 6W, 11D, & 15L, after the 4-1 loss to Levante. Granada will be coming off back-to-back defeats, LWDLL, while having only one victory in five LaLiga games. A torrid run of form this season, coupled with rotten luck against the Mattress Makers, leaves Granada with dampened spirits ahead of Wednesday’s clash. The Nazaríes have only one victory in 22 episodes against ATM on LaLiga soil. Furthermore, Granada has picked up only one victory in six LaLiga games played on Wednesdays and away from home [1W, 2D, & 3L]. Ruben Torrecilla hopes to see a draw at the very least when he lines up the 5—3—2 against the Mattress Makers.

After a narrow defeat to Barcelona last weekend, the Sevillistas take on the Nazaríes in the weekend’s debut fixture, looking to return to winning ways after four games without a victory. The La Liga fixture, Sevilla FC vs. Granada CF kicks off at 20:00 (GMT+1) on Friday, April 8, at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.

Granada salvaged a point in a dramatic 2-2 draw after a lifeline was presented in the shape of a penalty, deep inside stoppage time against ten-man Rayo Vallecano. Luis Milla (90’+4 P.) had the goalkeeper beaten from the spot after a handball from one of the Vallecans to see the Nazaríes pick up a point on home soil. Sitting in 16th place on the La Liga table, Granada are two spots and three points above the relegation zone while having 29 points from 6W, 11D, & 13L. Granada have amassed five points from a possible fifteen, DLLWD, in their last five games and are looking to pick up an unlikely win here to put more points between themselves and the bottom three. The club has an average of 1.1 goals scored per game, having hit the back of the net 33 times in 30 league matches. Furthermore, the club has conceded the most goals outside of the troubled trio at the bottom end, 48, and has a goal difference of -15, an average of 1.6 goals per match. Rubén Torrecilla put together a conventional 4—4—2 formation against the Vallecans and is expected to do so again on Friday against Sevilla. The lesser-known Luis Suárez could be playing alongside Jorge Molina in attack for the weekend’s game.

After picking up a defeat to the White and Blues, the Nazaríes make their Liga return against the Yellow Submarine, looking to avoid another loss in their quest to beat the drop. The LaLiga fixture, Granada CF vs. Villarreal CF, kicks off at 14:00 (GMT+1) on Saturday, February 19, at the Nuevo Los Cármenes Stadium.

Granada were on the receiving end of a 2-0 defeat to Real Sociedad last weekend at the Anoeta Stadium. A well-taken penalty from Mikel Oyarzabal (36' P.) saw the White and Blues take the lead minutes before the break. Minutes into the second half, Rafinha (74') tucked Real Sociedad’s second goal away, leaving the Nazaríes with a two-goal deficit until full-time. Having failed to score in the last three games, the loss leaves Granada with four defeats in a row and without a win in five LaLiga games, DLLLL. Granada sits just above the bottom-three in 17th place, while having 24 points after 5W, 9D, & 10L. The club has failed to hit the back of the net in 7 of their last 11 LaLiga appearances against Villarreal and would like to see those numbers improve at the end of the weekend. An unlikely win for Robert Moreno on Saturday could see Granada begin to put some space between themselves and the murky waters of relegation. A 4—4—2 formation with the lesser-known Luis Suarez and Matías Arezo may be seen from Robert Moreno for this fixture against Villarreal.

After tumbling out of the Copa del Rey following a defeat to Athletic Club on Thursday, the Whites return in search of a win over the Nazaríes, in a bid to maintain their four-point lead at the top of the table. Real Madrid CF vs. Granada CF kicks off at 21:00 (GMT+1) on Sunday, February 6, at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.

Granada failed to earn a point, following a 2-0 defeat to Osasuna before the break. Goals from David Garcia (65') and Kike Garcia (89') at the Nuevo Los Cármenes Stadium saw Granada pick up back-to-back defeats; WDDLL. The club remains in 14th place on the La Liga table, having 24 points from 5W, 9D, & 8L. Robert Moreno, who has a 25%-win rate [24G: 6W, 9D, & 9L], has the odds stacked against him as he aims for at least a point at the end of this trip to Madrid. The Nazaríes could adopt the conventional 4—4—2 formation with Jorge Molina and the lesser-known Luis Suárez in attack against Real Madrid.

After picking up a point against the Ones from Elche, the Nazaríes return for their second LaLiga game of the new year. Granada CF vs. FC Barcelona kicks off at 18:30 (GMT+1) on Saturday, January 8, at Los Cármenes.

Granada picked up a goalless draw against ten-man Elche at the Manuel Martínez Valero last weekend. After a few clear-cut chances at both ends of the pitch, Elche thought they had the lead after the ball was forced over the line, despite the goalkeeper having a hand on it. However, a VAR review had the goal chalked off for the foul on goalkeeper Luís Maximiano. Two minutes after the break, Granada picked up the numerical advantage after Elche’s Diego González Polanco (47’ R.) saw a straight red for bringing down the lesser-known Luis Suarez. However, Granada were unable to get past Elche despite having an extra man. Over the course of ninety minutes, the Nazaríes took 10 shots and had 5 O.T. while having 52% of the ball. The draw leaves Granada unbeaten in five La Liga games: WDWWD. In total, 13th-placed Granada has 23 points after 5W, 8D, and 6L. An unlikely win over Barcelona could see Granada topple 12th-placed Celta Vigo [23 points], who also have a difficult fixture against Real Sociedad at the weekend. Robert Moreno has kept the 4—4—2 formation in place for a major portion of the season and is expected to do so once again on Saturday, with Luis Suárez and Jorge Molina in attack. Granada could have as many as five players out of the squad due to COVID-19.

The LaLiga match between Granada CF and Atlético de Madrid kicks off at 19:00 (GMT+1) on Wednesday, December 22, at Los Cármenes.

Granada picked up a 4-1 win over Mallorca at the weekend on home soil. A well-executed counterattack saw Jorge Molina (20’) bag the opener with a fine right-footed finish to establish the lead for Granada midway through the first half. But Granada's lead lasted only four minutes as Dani Rodriguez (24’) restored Mallorca back on level terms with a fine header. One minute after the hour mark, Molina (61’ & 90’+1) returned for the brace, before going on to complete the hattrick in stoppage time. Antonio Puertas (90+6’) wrapped up all three points with Granada’s fourth, six minutes into stoppage time. The victory saw Granada remain in 15th place, having picked up 8 points in the last five LaLiga games: LDWDW. In total, the club has 19 points after 4W, 7D, and 6L. An unlikely win over Atletico Madrid could see Granada climb a spot up the table, but a defeat would see them remain in 15th place. Robert Moreno has kept the 4—4—2 formation in place for a major portion of the season and is expected to do so once again on Wednesday, with the lesser-known Luis Suárez and hattrick-hero Jorge Molina in attack.

The LaLiga fixture, Granada CF vs. Real Madrid CF, kicks off at 16:15 (GMT+1) on Sunday, November 21, at Nuevo Los Cármenes Stadium.

Granada picked up a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Espanyol at the RCDE Stadium just before the recently concluded World Cup qualifying round of fixtures. Goals from Pedrosa (30') and Raul de Tomas (42') settled the duel of ninety minutes to leave Granada with their first defeat in five LaLiga games: WDDWL. The loss saw the club drop two spots lower, from 15th to 17th place, having failed to pick up a point on Matchday 13. Granada has 11 points after 2W, 5D, and 5L, and a return to winning ways appears unlikely given this difficult game against Real Madrid, who have the most goals in the league, 28. As expected, Granada has a basket full of unimpressive numbers at both ends of the pitch. In the final third, the club can only muster an average of 0.92 goals per game, having netted 11 times in 12 La Liga games. They have also conceded 16 goals and have a G.D. of -5. An average of 1.33 goals conceded per game. Robert Moreno could utilize the 4—4—2 formation once again with the lesser-known Luis Suárez and Molina in attack.

The Spanish LaLiga Santander fixture, CA Osasuna vs. Granada CF, kicks off at 20:00 (GMT+1) on Friday, October 22, at El Sadar.

A well-rested Granada will emerge from the dug-out following last weekend’s fixture against Atletico Madrid having been rescheduled to a later date. The club sits 1 point above the bottom three, with a total of six points after 1W, 3D, & 4L. Over the length of the short season, the club has only managed to score 6 goals in eight appearances. Granada have also conceded 12 goals and are left with a negative goal difference of -6. Robert Moreno’s side has only managed a win in the last five games: LDLLW. With the only victory being the famous win over Sevilla on October 3, at the Los Cármenes. Robert Moreno will aim to pick up three points in order to begin putting a gap between his side and the troubled waters. The 44-year-old could line up the familiar 4—2—3—1 formation once again with the lesser-known Luis Suarez at the top of the design. Neyder Lozano (head injury) remains in doubt for this Friday's fixture alongside the central defender Yan Eteki (muscle injury).

The LaLiga Santander fixture, Granada CF vs. Sevilla FC, kicks off at 20:00 (GMT+1) on Sunday, October 3, at Los Cármenes.

Granada lost to Celta Vigo, 1-0, on Monday, the 27th of September at the Balaidos. Both sides appeared to have settled for a goalless draw, but a last-gasp effort from Vigo's Denis Suarez (90+4') eventually separated both teams at the death. The defeat leaves Granada inside the bottom three, in 18th place, alongside Alaves in 19th and Getafe at the bottom rung of the ladder, and without a point. Granada are without a win in the league and have only 3 points after seven games: 0W, 3D, & 4L. They return having suffered back-to-back defeats, LLDLL, and in search of three points in a bid to escape the troubled waters at the bottom end of the table. On Sunday, Robert Moreno could go along with the 4—4—2 formation with the 23-year-old, lesser-known Luis Suarez on the left of attack working alongside Carlos Bacca on the right. On the injury list, Granada have center-back Neyder Lozano (head injury) and Yan Eteki (muscle injury). Both players are ruled out of this fixture.

The Spanish LaLiga Santander fixture, F.C. Barcelona vs. Granada CF, kicks off at 20:00 (GMT+1) on Monday, September 20 at Camp Nou.

Granada lost to Real Betis 2-1 on Matchday 4 at Los Carmenes. The club had found the leveler through the lesser-known Luis Suarez (66') after the opposition had put themselves in front through Rodri (45'+2) at the stroke of halftime. But the Nazaríes had no answer to the second goal, carved out by Real Betis' Sergio Canales (89'). The defeat leaves Granada with a point above the bottom three after four games: 0W, 2D, & 2L. They return having suffered back-to-back defeats (DDLL) and in search of their first win of the season. Manager Robert Moreno could go along with the 4—3—3 formation with the 23-year-old Luis Suarez in the middle of attack. Center-back Neyder Lozano remains in doubt for this fixture.
