After suffering another huge blow to their Premier League survival bid, the Toffees are back against the Blues, looking to pick up an unlikely win for a chance to move out of the bottom-three. The Premier League fixture between relegation-threatened Everton and Chelsea will take place at 14:00 (GMT+1) on Sunday, May 1, at Goodison Park.

Everton are coming off their third defeat in five games, LLWDL, following the 2-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield after an Origi-inspired victory for the Reds. The AC Milan-bound forward was involved in Liverpool’s opener by Robertson (62'), minutes after coming off the bench, before netting the winner in the 85th minute. The defeat saw Everton slip into the bottom three, as they moved from 17th to 18th place, having picked up 29 points from 8W, 5D, and 19L. In an uphill battle for Premier League survival, Frank Lampard aims to steer the club out of the murky waters of relegation. His side has won each of their last three Premier League home games against Chelsea, and are on the verge of picking up four home wins in a row against the Blues, having last done so between 1970 and 1973. Furthermore, this is the first time Everton will play a Premier League game starting the day in the relegation zone since December 2019. Everton could make a quick escape from the bottom three if Burnley [31 points] fails to win all three points against Watford on Saturday. With four at the back, Frank Lampard is expected to use a three-man midfield and attack, 4—3—3, leaving Richarlison at the center of the attacking trio for this clash against Chelsea.

After picking the Red Devils apart, the Reds are back, looking to sweep the Toffees aside in an attempt to leapfrog the Sky Blues for the prized Premier League title. The Merseyside derby, Liverpool FC vs. Everton FC, kicks off at 16:30 (GMT+1) on Sunday, April 24, at Anfield.

A last-gasp effort from Richarlison (90'+2) salvaged a point for relegation-threatened Everton in the 1-1 draw against Leicester City on Wednesday at Goodison Park. Harvey Barnes (5') had put the Foxes in the lead inside the first five minutes after tapping home from close range. In 17th place, Everton sits one point above the bottom-three, with the form "WLLWD", while having 29 points from 8W, 5D, and 18L. The Toffees won this exact fixture 2-0 last season, ending a 20-game winless away run against Liverpool in the Premier League [1W, 9D, & 11L]. Everton have not won consecutive league visits to Anfield since February 1986 and are looking to do so this weekend. Meanwhile, no Premier League clash has ended in a draw more often than Everton vs. Liverpool (24), while the Merseyside derby has seen the highest number of red cards (22). A 4—3—3 formation with Richarlison at the center of the attacking trio is expected from Frank Lampard for Sunday’s game against the Reds.

After failing to take part in any Premier League action over the weekend, the Toffees are back against the Foxes, looking to put daylight between themselves and the bottom three. The Premier League fixture, Everton FC vs. Leicester City, kicks off at 19:45 (GMT+1) on Wednesday, April 20, at Goodison Park.

Relegation-threatened Everton sits right above the bottom three, in 17th place, separated by only three points after the famous 1-0 win over Manchester United at Goodison Park. The win, their second in five PL games, leaves the Toffees with the form “LWLLW”, while having 28 points, from 8W, 4D, and 18L. Everton is in desperate need of a victory to stay above the troubled trio at the bottom end, consisting of Burnley, Watford, and Norwich. However, a dark patch in the history of the troubled manager, Frank Lampard, could leave the Everton boss with genuine worries ahead of Wednesday’s game. Lampard hasn’t won any of his three Premier League matches against Leicester City [2D, 1L] and would like to break his three-time jinx against the Foxes. No side has he faced more often without ever picking up a win than Leicester City, along with Liverpool (3). With the possibility of relegation on the horizon, a victory here would be pivotal for Everton's Premier League survival as it could move them six points clear of the bottom three if Southampton picks up a win over Burnley [25 points] in another mid-week PL clash scheduled for Thursday. Lampard could line up the 4—3—3 with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anthony Gordon, and Richarlison in attack against Leicester City. Richarlison has hit the back of the net in four of his last six Premier League matches for Everton against the Foxes and is looking to do so again on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Yerry Mina could be an option on the bench for this clash.

With a section of the fans already calling for another change at the helm following the defeat to the Clarets in Wednesday’s relegation battle, the Toffees are looking to pick up at least a draw here to stay above the bottom-three. The Premier League fixture, Everton FC vs. Manchester United, kicks off at 12:30 (GMT+1) on Saturday, April 9, at Goodison Park.

Everton moved within a point of the relegation zone after a shocking 3-2 defeat to 18th-placed Burnley on Wednesday night at Turf Moor. The game saw Everton grab the leveler from the penalty spot through Richarlison (18’ P. & 41’ P.) before taking a 2-1 lead through another penalty kick minutes before the break. However, an 85th-minute Maxwel Cornet goal left the Toffees with an empty bag at Turf Moor. "The reality is what it is, we're not different to Burnley, Watford, Norwich, or Leeds," Lampard said in his post-match interview, cutting a frustrated figure. "That's where we're at as a football club. Players don't need to listen to or read anything other than turning up tomorrow and getting the right results to keep us in this league," Lampard added. The Chelsea icon will need to act fast to see a reverse in fortunes following a call for his sack, with the club at genuine risk of the drop. Lampard will be looking to pick up at least a point against Manchester United in what could be a long-drawn battle to stay above the bottom three. Everton has four defeats in five games, LLLWL, and remains in 17th place, having picked up 25 points from 7W, 4D, and 17L. A 4—4—2 with Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin is expected on Saturday. Allan rejoins the squad after serving a two-match suspension, alongside Michael Keane.

After yet another defeat, this time at the hands of the Sky Blues, the Clarets travel back in time to Premier League Match-week 19, following a COVID-inspired postponement, for this clash against the Toffees. The match between Burnley F.C. and Everton F.C. kicks off at 19:30 (GMT+1) on Wednesday, April 6, at Turf Moor.

Everton remained in 17th place on the Premier League table, having picked up a 2-1 defeat against West Ham on Sunday. The Toffees have just 25 points from 7W, 4D, & 17L and are sitting just above the relegation zone, separated by 3 points after picking up four defeats in five games, LLLWL. The Toffees are four points ahead of the Clarets, with Everton looking to pick up a win on Wednesday in order to put some distance between themselves and the bottom three. A win here would see Everton complete a league double over Burnley for the first time since the 2018/19 edition of the Premier League. Frank Lampard lined up the 4—3—3 against the Hammers but is expected to make changes for a 4—2—3—1, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin keeping his place as the focal point of attack. Michael Keane received a red card against West Ham on Sunday and is suspended, as is Allan, who will serve the final game suspension of a three-match ban. Donny van de Beek has also been ruled out of Wednesday’s game against Burnley.

Looking to shrug off the defeat to Spurs just before the international break, the Hammers are back against relegation-threatened Toffees, in search of a victory in a bid to re-establish their candidacy for a top-four finish. The Premier League fixture, West Ham United vs. Everton FC, is scheduled for kickoff at 14:00 (GMT+1) on Sunday, April 3 at the London Stadium.

Meanwhile, Everton picked up a 1-0 win over Newcastle United at Goodison Park right before the international break, courtesy of a single goal by Alex Iwobi (90'+9) deep inside stoppage time. The Toffees are in 17th place on the Premier League table, three points above the relegation zone while having 25 points from 7W, 4D, and 16L. The win was the first victory for Everton after four straight defeats, LLLLW. Everton are now looking to pick up back-to-back victories despite being winless in nine Premier League games played on a Sunday, having lost eight of those [0W, 1D, & 8L]. The club has won fewer away points than any other side in the current campaign (6 points) and are currently without a win in 11 away league games [0W, 2D, & 9L], - their longest such run without a win since February/December 2017, when they went 16 in a row. Frank Lampard could line up a 4—2—3—1 formation with Dominic Calvert-Lewin at the top of the shape. Allan is suspended for the weekend’s clash after the red card against Newcastle United.

After yet another defeat, this time against Wolves, the Toffees take on the Magpies in this re-arranged fixture, hoping to pick up a win and halt the steady descent down the Premier League table. Everton F.C. vs. Newcastle United F.C. kicks off at 20:45 (GMT+1) on Thursday, March 17, at Goodison Park.

Ten-man Everton picked up a 1-0 defeat to Wolves over the weekend, courtesy of a single goal from Conor Coady (49’). A laser-guided cross from Rúben Neves picked out the skipper, whose fine header rattled the back of the net, leaving Everton with four defeats in a row: WLLLL. The loss also keeps Everton in 17th place and just outside the relegation zone based on goal difference, while having 22 points from 6W, 4D, & 16L. Anything less than a victory here will spell doom for the Toffees as relegation worries continue to deepen. Everton have a string of difficult fixtures ahead, and with the torrid form, it leaves the Evertonians worried about where the valuable points needed to stay in the Premier League would come from. After Thursday's game against the Magpies, the club takes on West Ham [A - April 3] and then Manchester United [H - April 9] before heading to Anfield for Liverpool [A - April 23]. Chelsea are next [H - April 30] before a trip to the King Power Stadium for Leicester [A - May 7]. Skipping Brentford [H - May 15], Arsenal [A - May 22] comes next, and then Watford [A]. The Toffees have won only 18% of their Premier League games played on Thursday [2/11], but Frank Lampard would like to see those numbers go up at the end of this clash against the Magpies. A 4—2—3—1 with Dominic Calvert-Lewin at the top of the shape may be seen from the 43-year-old. Jonjoe Kenny picked up the red card against Wolves and is suspended for Thursday’s clash.

Having suffered one of their biggest defeats of the season against Spurs, the Toffees are back to take on Wolves in what appears to be a new reality as a relegation-embattled club. The Premier League fixture between Everton F.C. and Wolverhampton Wanderers kicks off at 15:00 (GMT+1) on Sunday, March 13, at Goodison Park.

Everton were smashed to pieces in a 5-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur last time out, and are coming off the back of three defeats in a row, LWLLL. An own goal had given Spurs the lead in the 14th minute, before Son (17’), Sergio Reguilón (46’), and Harry Kane (37’ & 55’) added to the tally. Everton sits just one point above the relegation zone in 17th place, while having 22 points from 6W, 4D, & 15L. Currently in a state of denial, Frank Lampard believes the club is not in crisis despite the five-goal thumping against Spurs. "It's not a crisis," Lampard said, speaking ahead of Sunday’s clash with Wolves. "It's very normal and I did have bad ones. I don't need to name them, but I had some bad personal ones, team ones," he added. "That happens in football and in the position that we're in. I didn't think we'd win 15 on the bounce and get into the Europa League positions." In what appears to be self-inflicted woes, Everton’s players have collectively made eight errors leading to a goal in the Premier League this season, more than any other side in the competition. The club is in desperate need of a win on Sunday. An attacking-minded Everton in the shape of a 4—3—3 formation with Richarlison, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and Demarai Gray in attack is expected for this clash against Wolves. Ben Godfrey remains doubtful, while Yerry Mina and Fabian Delph are both ruled out.

The Premier League fixture, Tottenham Hotspur vs. Everton FC, kicks off at 21:00 (GMT+1) on Monday, March 7, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Toffees are coming off the back of a 2-0 win over Boreham Wood on Thursday in the fifth round of the FA Cup. Having qualified for the FA Cup quarter-finals, Everton will take on Crystal Palace on March 19. Last weekend, the club picked up a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City at Goodison Park. In 17th place on the Premier League table, with 22 points from 6W, 4D, & 14L, the Toffees are looking to get back to winning ways after back-to-back defeats: LLWLL. Everton could complete the double over Spurs on Monday after picking up a win in the reverse fixture. Having seen his side deprived of a penalty against the Cityzens for a Rodri-handball in the box, Frank Lampard is hoping the wheels of fortune will spin in his favor should there be a repeat of such an episode on Monday. The 43-year-old's 4—3—3 could see Richarlison at the center of the attacking trio for Monday’s game. The 24-year-old had a one-on-one with the manager, reiterating his commitment to the success of the team. "I was very clear that I will give absolutely everything, wherever he wants me to play," he said, having mentioned his favorite position as an out-and-out striker.

Drifting towards the murky waters of relegation, the honest-speaking Frank Lampard returns with the Toffees, looking to steady the ship after hitting off another disappointing defeat against the Saints last time out. Everton F.C. vs. Manchester City F.C. kicks off at 18:30 (GMT+1) on Saturday, February 26, at Goodison Park.

Everton were looking to pull themselves out of the deep hole Rafael Benítez had left the club in but saw their efforts hampered by a 2-0 defeat to Southampton last Saturday. With only three points from their last five Premier League fixtures, LLLWL, the Toffees remain in 16th place, two points above the relegation zone, while having 22 points after 6W, 4D, & 13L. Speaking to the club ahead of Saturday’s game, Frank Lampard underscored the fact that there will be no quick fixes on the troubled pitch, before reiterating the importance of hard work. "There is no magic wand to change things instantly. You need to work and focus every day." The Everton boss said on the club's website. "You’re only as good as how you work and prepare," he added. Despite having a poor record against the Cityzens, the Everton boss is looking to draw inspiration from Spurs, who beat the Sky Blues last weekend. A 4—4—2 failed to generate the required results last weekend against Southampton. Hence, onlookers could be greeted with a 4—2—3—1 formation when the Toffees make their appearance against Manchester City on Saturday. Abdoulaye Doucouré recently returned to full training but remains in doubt for the weekend’s fixture alongside Yerry Mina and Ben Godfrey.
