Wolves are looking to breathe new life into their race for a top-six finish this weekend when they take on the Seagulls, following the disappointing defeat to the Clarets. The Premier League clash between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brighton & Hove Albion kicks off at 15:00 (GMT+1) on Saturday, April 30, at the Molineux Stadium.

Last time out, Brighton & Hove Albion picked up a 2-2 draw against Southampton despite having a two-goal lead in the first forty-five minutes. Danny Welbeck (2') had put Brighton in front before Salisu’s 45th-minute own goal saw the Seagulls double their lead. But a 25-yard free-kick from Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse (45' & 54'), coupled with another long-range effort, saw both sides level at the AMEX. The draw saw Brighton move one spot down the table, from 10th to 11th place, while having 41 points from 9W, 14D, and 11L. Brighton are looking to return to winning ways after two PL matches without a win, DWWLD. The Seagulls won each of their first six away league games against Wolves between 1979 and 1991. However, since then, Brighton have won just one of their 11 league visits to Molineux [1W, D7, & 3L]. - A victory that dates back to April 2017. The Seagulls adopted a 4—3—1—2 with Danny Welbeck and Neal Maupay against the Saints and are expected to re-appear with the same shape and attacking personnel. Yves Bissouma rejoins the squad after a two-game ban, while Jakub Moder remains ruled out with an ACL injury.

After an embarrassing defeat at the hands of the Cityzens, the Seagulls take on the Saints in another attempt to secure a place in the top-ten. The Premier League fixture, Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Southampton FC, kicks off at 14:00 (GMT+1) on Sunday, April 24, at the Falmer Stadium.

Brighton eventually succumbed to Manchester City’s superiority after holding out throughout the length of the first half. Mahrez (53') breached the Seagulls’ backline before Phil Foden (65') and Bernardo Silva (82') did the same at the City of Manchester Stadium. It was Brighton’s first defeat in two games, after back-to-back victories, LDWWL, which had seen them beat Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. "We defended really well, but we didn't play as well as I think we could. Credit the opponent, but we didn't hold possession well enough," Graham Potter said in his post-match interview. "In the end, the quality of the opponent means you are going to concede. I can't fault my players, but the better team won," he added. The Seagulls remain in 10th place, having picked up 40 points from 9W, 13D, and 11L. Brighton has won just one of their nine Premier League games against Southampton [1W, 5D, & 3L] and are yet to beat the Saints at home in the Premier League [0W, 1D, & 3L]. A top-ten finish appears to be the Seagulls' nearest goal. A win here could see Albion take a huge step toward keeping 11th–placed Newcastle United [40 points] and 12th–placed Brentford [39 points] at bay. A 3—5—2 with Danny Welbeck and Leandro Trossard (doubtful! COVID-19) is expected from Graham Potter for this clash against the Saints. Meanwhile, Yves Bissouma is suspended for the weekend's clash.

After failing to reach the FA Cup final following the defeat to the Reds, the Sky Blues are back against the Seagulls, looking to stay ahead of Liverpool in the Premier League title race. Manchester City vs. Brighton & Hove Albion kicks off at 20:00 (GMT+1) on Wednesday, April 20, at the City of Manchester Stadium.

The Seagulls appear to be putting the recent torrid run of form behind them after a 1-0 win over Tottenham on Saturday. Spurs were ready to settle for a point, but a goal, right at the death, from Leandro Trossard (90’) broke hearts at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Brighton moved a spot up the table after the win, from 11th to 10th place, having picked up 40 points from 9W, 13D, and 10L. Brighton are now looking to pick up three victories in a row, LLDWW, on Wednesday. However, Albion has lost eight of their nine Premier League games against Manchester City. Furthermore, the Seagulls have won just one of their 16 Premier League games played on a Wednesday [6.3%], with the victory coming against Liverpool last season. Graham Potter aims to break the jinx this Wednesday when the Seagulls take on the Sky Blues. The 46-year-old lined up the 3—5—2 formation against Spurs, leaving Alexis Mac Allister and Enock Mwepu in attack, and is expected to keep both shape and personnel in place against Manchester City on Wednesday.

After sweeping the Lions aside, Spurs take on the Seagulls in this lunch-time Premier League clash, looking to keep hold of the coveted fourth place. Tottenham Hotspur vs. Brighton & Hove Albion kicks off at 12:30 (GMT+1) on Saturday, April 16 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Following the 2-1 win over Arsenal last weekend, Brighton moved two spots up the table, from 13th to 11th place. Leandro Trossard (28’) put Albion in the lead before Arsenal had their would-be equalizer ruled out by the VAR for offside. Minutes into the second half, a remarkable 18-yard effort from Enock Mwepu (66’) doubled Brighton’s lead before Arsenal hit back with a fabulous long-range strike from Martin Ødegaard (89’) in the dying minutes. The victory leaves Brighton with 37 points from 8W, 13D, & 10L, after what was their first victory in five games, LLLDW. Brighton have won just one of their nine away league games against Spurs [1W, 2D, & 6L], having lost five in a row after a 1-0 win in October 1981. Graham Potter would like to see his side pick up back-to-back victories at the end of the weekend when he lines up a 3—5—2 formation, with Danny Welbeck and Alexis Mac Allister in attack against Spurs. Brighton's Jakub Moder (ACL injury), who is the only name on the injury list, is ruled out for the season.

Following their shocking defeat to the Eagles, the Gunners are back in the Premier League to take on the Seagulls in an attempt to reclaim fourth place. The Premier League clash between Arsenal FC and Brighton & Hove Albion kicks off at 15:00 (GMT+1) on Saturday, April 9, at the Emirates Stadium.

Meanwhile, Brighton failed to find a way past Norwich City following a goalless draw against the Canaries last Saturday. The draw leaves the Seagulls in 13th place on the Premier League table, with 34 points from 7W, 13D, and 10L, while having no victories in five games, LLLLD. Graham Potter is looking to return to winning ways in a bid to leapfrog 12th-placed Southampton, who take on Chelsea in another league match scheduled for Saturday. Brighton have drawn nine of their last 13 away Premier League games in London [1W, 9D, & 3L], and they hope to avoid defeat this weekend at the Emirates Stadium. A 3—4—1—2 formation with Danny Welbeck and Neal Maupay in attack is anticipated for Saturday’s clash against the Gunners.

The Premier League returns following the international break with the Seagulls taking on the Canaries after the 2-0 loss to Spurs. Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Norwich City kicks off at 15:00 (GMT+1) on Saturday, April 2, at the AMEX.

Goals from Cristian Romero (37') and Harry Kane (57') left Brighton reeling to the curb with five consecutive defeats, LLLLL. The loss left Albion in 13th place while having 33 points from 7W, 12D, & 10L. With the recent torrid form, it appears that the key to unlocking Brighton’s difficult brand of football has been discovered. Brighton have lost each of their last six Premier League games, hitting the back of the net only once in those six episodes. The Seagulls are looking to avoid seven in a row for the first time since a run of 12 consecutive defeats between August and October 2002 in the second tier. Graham Potter views Saturday’s clash against the Yellows as a fine opportunity to return to winning ways, but a dark patch in history leaves the 46-year-old nervous ahead of the weekend’s game. Brighton have never won a Premier League match in the month of April in 14 attempts [0W, 7D, & 7L] over the club’s 120-year-long history. Graham Potter will attempt to break the jinx on Saturday when he lays out the 4—2—3—1 formation with Neal Maupay in attack. Maupay remains the club’s top scorer with 8 goals in 27 appearances while having two assists, which sums up his contributions for the club in the final-third as 38%.

After picking up yet another defeat, to the Reds, the Seagulls travel back in time to Matchday 16 for this clash against Spurs, hoping to regain lost ground. The Premier League fixture, Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Tottenham Hotspur, kicks off at 20:30 (GMT+1) on Wednesday, March 16, at the AMEX.

Brighton were looking to pick up at least a point against Liverpool, but two goals from the Reds left the club with a 2-0 defeat on home soil. A brave header from Luis Díaz (19’) saw Liverpool take the lead before Mohamed Salah (61’ P) wrapped up all three points for the Reds from the penalty spot. "We started really well. The goal took the wind out of our sails a little bit, especially with the run we're on and them being Liverpool." With the defeat, Albion remains in 13th place, while having 33 points after 7W, 12D, and 9L. Despite the recent run of poor form, an unlikely win here for the Seagulls could see the club jump as many as three spots ahead on the table. With five defeats in a row: LLLLL, Brighton are looking to avoid unpleasant memories of picking up six in a row, as they did in February/March 2006, in a season which saw them relegated from the Championship. However, a poor record of just four victories in 34 Premier League mid-week episodes [4W, 14D, & 16L], coupled with a winless run in five [0W, 3D, & 2L] this season, leaves Graham Potter slightly worried ahead of Wednesday’s game. The 46-year-old could line up the 4—2—3—1 formation with Neal Maupay in attack against Spurs.

The Seagulls take on the Reds looking to halt a steady descent down the Premier League table following a string of uninspiring results, most recently against the Magpies. Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Liverpool F.C. kicks off at 13:30 (GMT+1) on Saturday, March 12, at AMEX.

Despite a spirited performance in the final moments, Brighton picked up 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United at St. James' Park last weekend. Newcastle's Ryan Fraser (12') tucked away the rebound to put his side in front before Fabian Schär (14') put the Magpies in the comfort zone two minutes later. The skipper, Lewis Dunk (55'), offered the Seagulls a life-line having pulled one back ten minutes after the break. However, Albion were unable to find the leveler over the remaining thirty-five minutes. The 2-1 loss leaves Brighton with four consecutive Premier League defeats WLLLL. Following the loss, the club slipped three spots down the table, from 10th to 13th place, having failed to pick up a point on EPL Matchday 28. Albion have 33 points after 7W, 12D, & 8L, and are looking to have a sniff at victory when they take on Liverpool. A strong record against the Reds, in recent times, leaves Graham Potter with a glimmer of hope ahead of the weekend's clash. An unlikely victory here would see Brighton regain lost ground, while a defeat would leave the club with five losses in a row for the first time since April 2007, when they did so in League One. On Saturday, a 4—2—3—1 formation with Neal Maupay in attack is expected against Liverpool. Brighton have no new injury worries ahead of this fixture.

After brushing the Bees aside with relative ease, the Magpies are looking to put daylight between themselves and the bottom-three when they take on the Seagulls this weekend, having exited the murky waters of relegation. Newcastle United vs. Brighton & Hove Albion kicks off at 16:00 (GMT+1) on Saturday, March 5, at St. James’ Park.

Meanwhile, Brighton & Hove Albion are coming off the back of three defeats in a row, DWLLL, following the 2-0 home loss to Aston Villa after goals from Matty Cash (18') and Ollie Watkins (68'). At the moment, the club sits in 10th place with 33 points from 7W, 12D, & 7L, looking to return to winning ways at the weekend or pick up a draw at the very least. Having kept a clean sheet in each of the last four Premier League fixtures against the Magpies, the Seagulls are looking to repeat the feat at the weekend. Despite the torrid run of form in recent times, Graham Potter appears to be doing a fine job of guiding the Seagulls towards what appears to be the club’s objective; a finish in the upper half of the table. On Saturday, a 3—5—2 formation with Maupay and Leandro Trossard in attack may be seen for this game against Newcastle United.

Following their humiliating loss to the Clarets last weekend, the Seagulls are back against the Lions looking to pick up three points and put the ugly score-line behind them. The Premier League fixture, Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Aston Villa, kicks off at 16:00 (GMT+1) on Saturday, February 26, at Falmer Stadium.

Blown away by Burnley on home soil, Brighton picked up a 3-0 defeat to the Clarets last weekend at AMEX. A remarkable strike mid-way through the first-half from Burnley’s January arrival, Wout Weghorst (21), left him with his debut Premier League goal for the club. Five minutes before the stroke of half-time, Josh Brownhill (40’) struck for Burnley’s second, leaving Albion with a two-goal deficit. Another goal from Burnley’s Aaron Lennon (69’) saw the game taken well beyond the Seagulls. The defeat leaves the club with back-to-back losses: DDWLL and in 9th place with 33 points after 7W, 12D, & 6L. The Seagulls are on the brink of losing three Premier League games in a row for the first time since March 2021, having lost the last two. With Brighton having the reputation of being one of the most difficult Premier League sides to take on, Graham Potter is looking to return to winning ways on Saturday. However, a poor home record in the shape of a five-match winless run against the Lions leaves him slightly troubled ahead of the weekend’s fixture. In the 3-0 loss to the Clarets, Potter went with the 4—4—2 but is expected to switch to three at the back in a 3—4—1—2 formation, having Neal Maupay and Leandro Trossard in attack. Neal Maupay has netted 26 Premier League goals for Albion [along with Glenn Murray]. One more strike will see him become the club’s top scorer in the Premier League. Meanwhile, Enock Mwepu has been ruled out for this fixture.
